Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
I'm not a huge gamer, but when Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout came out, I was intrigued. The premise is simple: up to 60 players compete in a series of wacky obstacle courses, with the goal of being the last person standing. The catch is that everyone is playing in the same instance, so you're constantly bumping into (and falling over) other players. It's a recipe for hilarity, and I was curious to see how the game would measure up.
The graphics are colorful and cartoony, and the courses are filled with obstacles like giant hamster wheels, conveyor belts, and giant wrecking balls. The courses are also randomly generated, so you never know what you're going to get. As for the plot, there really isn't one. You just try to survive the courses and be the last person standing.
One of the things I like about Fall Guys is that it's easy to pick up and play. There's no need to memorize complex controls or strategies. The courses are also short, so you're not committed to a long game. And if you do get eliminated, you can just jump back in and try again.
Our Verdict
I've only played a few rounds of Fall Guys, but I've already had a blast. It's the perfect game for some quick and easy fun. And with so many people playing, there's always someone to bump into (literally). I'm looking forward to playing more and seeing how far I can make it in the standings.
