Today Marks The Release Of Baldur's Gate III Patch 6, Introducing Additional Romantic Possibilities In Celebration Of Valentine's Day

The sixth significant update for Baldur's Gate III has arrived, marking the end of a notably lengthy interval since the fifth patch. With high expectations set by the eager fanbase, the latest patch appears to deliver, aligning with the romantic spirit of Valentine's Day by introducing additional romantic encounters and new animations for in-game kisses with your virtual beau or belle.

Additionally, the game now offers a less cumbersome method for parting ways with companions. Rather than enduring guilt-inducing conversations, players may simply choose the companion they wish to keep and smoothly let go of the others.

Improvements have also been made to the combat mechanics, with the Shield Bash feature now fully operational. Instead of being ineffective, using Shield Bash compels foes to attempt saving throws, risking being knocked down on a failure.

This substantial patch encompasses various other updates, requiring PC gamers to reserve 150GB of free space for installation. Those facing storage constraints have the option to uninstall the game and then reinstall it to accommodate the new update.
