Ghost of Tsushima 2 has long been anticipated by fans. While Sucker Punch remains relatively tight-lipped about its progress and has yet to confirm a release date, it is reassuring to know that development is underway. This lack of official information hasn’t stopped speculation and rumors from swirling about what the next installment may entail.

In May, the PC port of the original game was released, generating considerable excitement. Nonetheless, anticipation for the sequel is even higher. Though specific information regarding the game is still kept secret, it is crucial for this new title to draw inspiration from another acclaimed game in order to uphold its legacy.

Elden Ring debuted in 2022, quickly ascending to the ranks of the greatest video games ever made. With over 25 million copies sold globally, gamers were captivated by its expansive world. The introduction of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion pack two years later added a new layer to the experience, allowing players to delve deeper into the journey of its main character within a newly conceived realm.

This expansion opened up vertical exploration, enhancing the gameplay with dimensions previously unexplored. This unique approach transformed routine locations into unexpected adventure zones, which became a major selling point for the DLC, contributing to its impressive sales of over 5 million copies.

For instance, the Stone Coffin Fissure area, which might have seemed ordinary at first, became extraordinary because of the innovative vertical exploration concept present in the DLC.
